SHOWTIME + HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN:
QUEER TO STAY
TARGET
LGBTQ+ communities and allies in NYC and LA.
GOAL
Drive awareness around Showtime’s partnership with the HRC to support LGBTQ+ owned businesses that were negatively impacted during the pandemic.
PROGRAM
COLLiDE was tasked with identifying and collaborating with two LGBTQ+ street artists based in NYC and LA as well as mural space in high foot traffic areas.
Each mural was intended to “stop traffic” and garner awareness for the Showtime/HRC Queer To Stay initiative.
Each mural also included a QR code that would take viewers to the campaign site where they could donate and learn more.
RESULTS
Large, colorful, eye-catching murals were prominently displayed in LA in the heart of West Hollywood and in Los Feliz and in the Soho neighborhood of NYC.
The murals and campaign received press coverage in WeHo Times and LA's local ABC affiliate.
Showtime was able to partner with highly sought after street muralists Lauren YS and Sam Kirk.
