TARGET

Hard Rock social media community and various social media users whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

GOAL

Raise awareness for Hard Rock's fight against breast cancer utilizing the power of music. 

PROGRAM

  • Launched a social media contest that encouraged users to “Find their Fight Song” and create the ultimate Pinktober anthem.

  • To enter, fans posted a photo to Instagram that shared their story and a corresponding lyric.

  • The winner’s lyrics were incorporated into a song professionally recorded by X Factor finalist and the voice behind the FIFA World Cup anthem, David Correy.

  • The Grand Prize Winner received a $5K prize, a matching donation in their name to American Cancer Society, an autographed pink Fender guitar and a complimentary stay at a Hard Rock Hotel location.

 

RESULTS

  • Hard Rock Hotels received an original song recorded by David Correy that was released on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.

  • The track received 14K+ streams on Spotify alone in less than two months.

  • The contest received 1M+ social media impressions.

  • Hard Rock donated $5K to American Cancer Society.
