TARGET

LA and NYC music communities and music lovers around the world.

GOAL

Strengthen the connection between Dr. Martens and the target demo by authentically supporting and elevating the music and stories of hard-working musicians.

PROGRAM

  • COLLiDE was tasked with finding a diverse group of artists to represent music scenes in NYC and LA.

  • COLLiDE also worked with the brand to select a group of filmmakers who understand Dr. Martens’ aesthetic and the spirit of these scenes.

  • The six episode series featured the following music scenes: AfroHouse (NYC), DIY (NYC), Alternative Underground (NYC), Queer Indie (LA), Women in Punk (LA), LatinX musicians (LA).

  • Artists featured included: The Linda Lindas, Exene Cervenka, Patty Schemel, MUNA, A Place To Bury Strangers, Cakes Da Killa, L’Rain, Neon Indian and more.

 

RESULTS

  • COLLiDE helped Dr. Martens stay aligned with their mission to support local music scenes and artists from diverse backgrounds.

  • The series received Press coverage in Variety, Billboard, Bust, Alternative Press, Sirius XM and more.

  • Increased brand loyalty and affinity among key culture makers in music and film. COLLiDE and Dr. Martens continue to receive multiple requests to collaborate from influential musicians and filmmakers.
