GOAL:
Create social media buzz for Snickers, the official candy of the NFL, while supporting GameStop’s midnight Madden 2017 release events in L.A. and N.Y.C.

PROGRAM:

      • Snickers partnered with gaming powerhouse GameStop for the midnight Madden 2017 events in Los Angeles and New York City.
      • Fans were treated to snickers while waiting in line at GameStop locations in LA & NYC.
      • Fans who posted their #EatASnickers photos on Twitter and Instagram received printed copies on site.
      • Two NFL stars (Lavar Arrington and Carl Banks) arrived at the stores to surprise the fans, take photos and sign autographs.

RESULTS

    • The program garnered hundred of thousands impressions on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram via the hashtag #EatASnickers:
      • 15,709,183 total unique impressions
      • 74,716 likes
      • 88 Photos and Videos
    • GameStop, NFL players and influencers posted event photos and videos on their social platforms.
